New Year’s Morning: Mini Osechi & Ozoni Breakfast by the Irori

On New Year’s Day, step into the main house and gather around the traditional irori hearth. Surrounded by the warmth of old wood and crackling charcoal, enjoy a mini osechi(traditional Japanese food) and freshly made ozoni(traditional Japanese soup)—a simple, heartfelt way to begin the year.

It’s a quiet, nostalgic start to the morning that you can only experience here.
