This morning, Kakurekura woke up to its first snowfall of the season.Winter has arrived a little earlier this year—about three weeks ahead of last winter.

Just a few days ago, I was taking photos of deep red maple leaves and golden ginkgo trees. And now, the ridgeline of the mountains is dusted in white, while the green rice fields below hold a thin layer of snow.It felt like a rare moment when autumn and winter quietly overlap.

The lingering red of the autumn leaves and the fresh white of the snow—a color palette that appears only for a very short time. It’s the kind of scenery that makes you feel grateful simply for witnessing it.

For now, the snowfall is still light, and true winter in the rice fields will likely come in mid-January.But today felt like winter gently knocking on the door.

From here, the landscape will slowly shift, and Kakurekura will enter its peaceful snow-covered season.I look forward to sharing more of these winter moments with you.
