Moonlight shining over a snow-covered rice field.

Light slipping through a break in the clouds reflected softly on the snow, illuminating the satoyama as if dawn had arrived early.

A silent night. No wind, no sound—only snow and light sharing the space.

This was a view I encountered for the very first time myself.

Not something you can plan for, but a scene that appears only when conditions quietly align.

Time at Kakurekura sometimes brings these small, unexpected moments.

Some nights pass without anything happening.

And some nights offer a gentle surprise like this.

Perhaps that is why each stay here carries a slightly different expression, even though nothing appears to change.
