A Landscape That Lasted Minutes

After several days of rain and cloudy skies,we finally woke to a clear morning.
I usually look for morning mist behind Kakurekura, but this time, I turned toward the countryside on the other side.
Just as the sun began to rise, light found its way into the mist.
For a few moments, the familiar fields and hills looked like somewhere else entirely.
About a few minutes later, the light had shifted, and the scene was gone.
Even after living here for years, there are still landscapes I am seeing for the first time.
Some of our guests enjoy walking early in the morning. Perhaps they have already seen mornings here that I have never seen myself.
Nature never seems to show us exactly the same place twice.
And I am grateful to live so close to it.
There are probably still many landscapes here that I do not know yet.
