About the guesthouse
The guesthouse is a 70-year-old earthen storehouse built in a rural landscape. The storehouse has been used as a storage facility since ancient times,
The storehouse has been transformed into a “place where people can stop by and relax.
The area is rich in shades of green and blue, a place where there is “nothing” but nature.
A place where people can take a break from the convenience of the digital world and enjoy the luxury of “nothingness”.
We would be happy if we could help you take a break to appreciate the charm and value of Nishiazai-cho.
Stay as if you were living in the guesthouse
Viewing the seasonal scenery of rice fields, listening to birds singing, taking a walk in the dazzling morning sun, having a drink while watching the sunset from the garden, and dining under the stars in the evening.
This is the “luxury” of spending a day with nature.
If you are looking for a place to just sleep, we recommend a more convenient location.
The guesthouse has only small windows. We have preserved the atmosphere as much as possible and kept what we have inherited from our predecessors.
Step outside the warehouse and enjoy your stay here, whether it be hot or cold, drinking coffee in the garden or having a BBQ.
There are no rules on how to spend your time.

This area offers beautiful nature in each of the four seasons.You can take a stroll along the shores of Lake Biwa or,In spring, you can enjoy the park with cherry blossoms in full bloom, and in autumn, you can enjoy the mountains with beautiful autumn leaves.Surrounded by rich nature, you can refresh your mind and body.
The this region, where our guesthouse is located, is a town steeped in history and culture.
If you go a little further, you will find townscapes that retain a Japanese flavor, traces of history, and traditional culture, and more.
You can go east or west, depending on your mood of the day.
